The Role of Youth in Human Rights in Ghana- Our organization the Movement for Youth and Children’s Right organization (MYCRO-International) mission is to uphold youth and Children’s Rights and development. We believe that young people have a very significant role to play in the promotion and protection of human rights in Ghana and around the world. However, before young people could be endeavor or serve as activists in this process, their rights and responsibilities must be upheld and granted.
Many Human Rights organizations and governments have had the opportunity to speak under the youth agenda of the United Nations on the role of youth in the promotion and protection of human rights. We feel that the beginning of actualizing Human Rights in Ghana, we should be able to consider further how the rights of youth can be better safeguarded, and how youth may contribute to the realization of human rights and the fundamental freedom in Ghana. For this, a thorough training or discussion is of the essence of youth of Ghana to learn their Human Rights, its corresponding responsibilities, the role as a youth and the role of the government and human rights institutions in Ghana and around the world.
Youth Entrepreneurship- A path to the Future: The rapid innovations and establishment of multibillion dollar businesses around the world have proven that Entrepreneurship is one of the major tools for personal and societal growth for sustainable development. Entrepreneurship as clearly defines, as the single most important activity in our economy. It is the only activity that enables enterprising Ghanaian to apply their mind to create new value, new wealth, new money and new jobs. Entrepreneurship changes the way we live and work. If successful, the revolutions may improve our standard of living. In short, in addition to creating wealth from entrepreneurial ventures, it’s also create jobs and the conditions for a flourishing society.
