From March 20th to 28th, enjoy the best of films from Francophone countries mainly from Africa as part of the Accra Francophone Film Festival 2015. There will be nine features, four documentaries and four animation films, including multiple-award winning Timbuktu by A. Sissako, in five venues in Accra and one in Kumasi.
21 short films by the new generation of Ghanaian film directors will be also in competition to win the best short film award.
Films will be screened at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), the Executive Theatre at TV3, the School of Performing Arts at the University of Ghana, Legon, the Nubuke Foundation, Alliance Française (Accra), and Alliance Française (Kumasi).The Accra Francophone Film Festival is hosted by Institut Français du Ghana.
All the movies are subtitled in English, and the event is free.
