The exhibition “Celebrating Environmental defenders of Kenya” scheduled early October aims at putting a spotlight on various community leaders from Lamu and Kitui who are actively working to ensure that real energy and development solutions get implemented in their communities and across the country in response to a number of pressing economic, environmental and social concerns in order to achieve a sustainable green economy pathway. About the Photographer: Peter Ndung'u is a visual story teller based in Nairobi, Kenya. With a background in Law, Peter has a passion for sharing stories that align with just causes. He is an award winning photographer, having been nominated thrice in 3 consecutive years of the Kenya Photography Awards and winning the Most Promising Young Photographer category in the 2016 awards as well as the Portraiture and People's Choice Award in the 2015 edition.
