ECOWAS Trade Fair is a regional platform for accessing West Africa’s market of some 300 million consumers.
The fair seeks to promote economic integration and trade among citizens in member states, especially industrialists, investors, manufacturers, commercial operators and buyers.
Previously held every four years, the ECOWAS Trade Fair is now a biennial event. Senegal hosted the first edition in 1995, followed by Ghana in 1999, Togo in 2003, Nigeria in 2005 and Burkina Faso in 2008.
Ghana is hosting the next ECOWAS Trade Fair.
The Seventh edition of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Trade Fair is scheduled to take place from October 24 to November 4, 2013 in Accra, under the theme: "Regional Integration Through Trade".
The Fair will involve participants of all 15 member states and thus presents significant opportunities for trade promotion, B2B meetings, networking among others. As such there will be limited spaces for exhibition. AGI members are by this email invited to articipate and take advantage of the Fair to showcase their goods and services to a market of over 300 million people within the sub-reqion and beyond.
