After four successful years in Anglophone Africa, Angel Fair Africa will take place from 24th to 25th November 2017 in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire – the first francophone country and the last of the KINGS (Kenya, Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa) to host this signature event.
The event, which has been held in Johannesburg (SA) 2013, Lagos (Nigeria) 2014, Accra (Ghana) 2015 and Nairobi (Kenya) 2016 resulting in about $21M worth of deals, will this year bring 100 investors and entrepreneurs from within and outside Africa to the French-speaking city of Abidjan to do deals, network and learn from one another at the 5th Angel fair Africa -

Esther who has also invested in African startups such as Rasello, Nomanini, Angaza, etc. and is an advisor to DiGAME Investment Company, will share her experience of investing globally, picking and nurturing some of the best startups …and learning from the others! “But mostly,” she says,” I’m interested to meet African entrepreneurs and their teams and to be as useful as I can.“

Investors for the event will include members of Angel Africa List, Ivoire Business Angel Network, Women Investment Club, Ghana Angel Investor Network, Lagos Angel Network, New Generation Angels, African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and Angel Capital Association.
This year, the entrepreneurs have been selected from Orange Fab, WoeLab, MBC Africa, Founders Institute, TEKXL, Co-Creation Hub, KhulaTech, CTIC Seed Stars World and MEST. The entrepreneurs will pitch during the event in the mornings, and will circulate in the afternoons to explore investment, business development and other types of deals. The event will also include investors’, entrepreneurs’ and “exits” panel discussions to share light on experiences and trends.
