Ethiopia ready to host 29th AU Summit. ---------------------------------------------------- Ethiopia Finalizes Preparations for the 29th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union which will be held 3rd – 4th July 2017 at the AU headquarters in Addis Ababa. (AU). On a joint press conference made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Addis Ababa city administration, all the necessary security preparations have been completed, including other facilities essential for the Summit. The two urged residents of the city to warmly welcome guests coming for the meeting and to report to police if they see any strange activities with telephone numbers +251 11-1-11-01-11, +251 11-1-26-43-59 or with emergency telephone numbers 991 and 911.
