The EUNIC Cluster Namibia presents the 3rd EUNIC Film Festival in Windhoek from 10th to 17th of September 2014. The 2014 festival will screen 14 movies from 14 European countries on the wide ranging topic of “Celebrating Heroes”. Films will be screened at the cinema of the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC), at the Goethe Centre Windhoek, at the Diogo Cão Language Centre at the Windhoek International School, and for the first time this year at the Katutura Community Arts Centre (KCAC). As in previous years, all screenings are free of charge. Detailed programs will be available at festival venues soon or can be downloaded on www.fncc.org.na . EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) Cluster Namibia is composed of Alliance Française, British Council, Camões Institute represented by Diogo Cão Language Centre, Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre, Goethe Zentrum Windhoek as well as the Embassies of Finland and Spain. For the 2014 festival, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland and Slovakia are also present through their diplomatic missions in South Africa.
