In the first mock debate committees 1 (DISEC), 3 (SOCHUM) and ILC will be simulated. This pack contains all the relevant information for one to prepare for the 1st mock debate. Take note, position papers and letters of credentials will be mandatory for all delegates participating in the mock debate. I have included a guideline and samples of the same below. Resolutions will not be a requirement. However, all delegates are required to research on the agenda item of their committee and become well informed on the current affairs, global issues and their country’s policy. Finally, kindly go through the rules of procedure and become accustomed with them for a fruitful committee session. Consider, the agenda items with an open mind in order to facilitate fruitful debate.
