We enourage the participation of every individual, at every skill level, to push the world in the right direction!!

The participants of our program will focus on finding solutions that can be executed locally and continue to be developed after the hackathon. Each key issue manifests itself differently in each region so we match up entrepreneurs in each region with their needed resources (mentors, coaches, training, education) - building a local infrastructure that can support innovation and entrepreneurial activities. This way we help people match their entrepreneurial intentions with opportunities!

“It’s not the supply of entrepreneurs that constitute the key bottleneck to economic dynamism, but rather the activities toward which entrepreneurial individuals channel their efforts” Levie and Autio (2011).”

Who is a hacker?

A hacker is an innovator. Hacking is a mindset. A hacker is a person who challenges the system to make it better. Our hackathon is open to everyone: computer programmers, doctors, politicians, designers, scientists, educators and all other professionals. What matter is not your profession but your ideas and desire to create a positive impact on the world.

What's a hackathon?

A hackathon is a competition where different challenges are solved using any method. We expect to see technology used to create innovative solutions that can be executed locally and continued to be developed after the hackathon. The challenges should be approached thinking that technology itself will not change the world, but the people using it. Technology is just a tool and you have the power to make it powerful.

Who can participate?

Our hackathon is open to everyone: computer programmers, doctors, politicians, designers, scientists, educators and all other professionals. The event is an active forum for people to come together and make a huge impact on the world.

What's the hackathon's focus?

We identify real global problems and let participants work on solutions that can be executed locally and continued to be developed after the hackathon. While most Hackathons cater only to tech professionals, we believe a multidisciplinary approach is needed to truly inspire and sustain change. We use a 3-pronged approach: issue challenges, call for local talent, provide speeches from world’s thought leaders and free access online to knowledge. The series hackathons address education, technology, and healthcare. Challenges includes food safety, specialized education, sanitization, STDs, international accreditation We expect to create change, build community empowerment, creative solutions, and international friendships.

What if... Conference and Design Thinking Workshop Conference What If...? This isn't a traditional conference - it's highly participatory. We don't have an audience, we have a gathering of off-stage presenters. Through the “What If...? Flow,” the focus is diverted from the speakers onto the collaboration of the crowd to "hack the ask" (the questions) and design actions in order to co-create the future. This future is composed of actionable deliverables, relationships, and real world projects with real world applications. Design Thinking Workshop Designed to help participants understand issues, teams, and community as systems. Outcomes of the workshop include: • Identifying existing connections to leverage into new opportunities • Increasing empathy for community and issues • Developing a deeper understanding of the need for which they’re solving • Learning new brainstorming approaches to uncover a full range of possibilities • Shifting focus to the “awesome” & “true” value in what they’re creating • Challenging preconceived perceptions • Learning how to get the most out of group collaborations • Preparing for the hackathon 1.
