In a landmark ruling, Shalimar Abbuisi, spokesperson for the New Force political movement, has emerged victorious in her human rights case against Ghana. The ECOWAS Court found that her rights were violated through wrongful arrest and illegal deportation in December 2023, awarding her $10,000 in damages.
