Kumawood star LilWin is making waves after suing Abrempong TV for GH¢1 million over the unauthorized airing of his film A Country Called Ghana. The actor, whose real name is Kwadwo Nkansah, claims the broadcaster violated his copyright by airing the movie without permission.
Through his lawyer, LilWin demands the TV station stop airing his productions immediately and pay substantial damages. The legal warning gives Abrempong TV just 14 days to comply before formal court action begins, highlighting the seriousness of protecting creative rights in Ghana's film industry.
