PyCon Ghana is organized by volunteers and python enthusiasts from the Python programming community in Ghana. We expect speakers from Africa and the rest of the world. The two day conference will bring together students, professionals, experts and enthusiasts from around Africa and beyound who wish to share their knowledge and passion about Python and related technologies.

• Marlene Mhangami – Co-Founder Zimbopy, Purple Lipstick Founder, Director at the Python Software Foundation.
• Adam Johnson – DevOps Lead Time Out Digital, Django core team member
• Chukwudi Nwachukwu – Chairperson of Python Nigeria Community, Fellow in the Python Software Foundation.
• Femi Oladele – Organizer Python Ibadan User Group, Software Engineer, Cloud Services Consultant.

PyCon Ghana’s purpose is to increase the visibility of developers, organizations, and companies within the community and all necessary stakeholders. The conference is suited for all skill levels, from beginners to expert developers.
As an organization, we believe that the conference which involves talks, tutorials from experts and a Django Girls workshop to introduce Ladies to Python programming would be an excellent avenue for selected representatives to experience first-hand the importance and broader scope of the Python programming language.
