The primary goal is to showcase the work of local and international entrepreneurs (social), the impact of their organisation and the opportunities for the youth. The event will also bring together innovators and doers in Kumasi, to interact and share ideas that have the propensity for social and economic impact.

The maiden edition will have Mr. Frank Boateng speak on "Turning Passion into Business".

Mr. Frank Boateng is a Serial Entrepreneur, Executive VP for XP Resources LLC in Houston USA and Country MD for EquipXP Mining and Construction Ghana Ltd. He is also the Country Manager for XP Resources Ltd (producers of Darkofresh Natural Mineral Water) in Kumasi. Frank has over fifteen years experience in the Extractive Industry and has helped raised funds and built three gold mines in Ghana and Mauritania.

Frank has served as an advisor and board member of several boards in Ghana and USA, including Ghana Chamber of Mines, Ankobra West Rural Bank, McOttley Capital Ltd and Mediama Sporting Club. He is a Business Development and Enterprise Risk Consultant and a member of the following professional bodies: Industrial Commercial and Institutional Accountants (ICIA – Canada), Project Management Inc. (PMI – USA), American Academy of Project Management (AAPM – USA)

Frank is a PhD student and holds an MBA from The University of Leicester (UK) and BSc. Admin (Accounting Option) from Central University College and has participated in several professional training programs in the UK, USA, Kenya, Mauritania and Ghana.

He started his career at the erstwhile Obenemase Gold Mines in Konongo and moved to Satellite Goldfields now (Golden Star Resources Wassa Mine) and subsequently worked as Financial Accountant at Goldfields Ghana Damang Mine. He later joined Newmont Ghana Gold as Senior Business Analyst and Chirano Gold Mines (Kinross Mining Corporation) as Senior Mine Accountant responsible for payables. Frank was later appointed as Financial Controller of Redback Mining’s Tasiast Mauritania Mine in Mauritania. He later joined the start up of Adamus Resources as the Finance and Administration Manager and subsequently appointed as Commercial Manager.
