By Ghana Wildlife Society

Sat, Jun 3. 7AM - 9AM

Event Details

Join us every 1st Saturday of the month for this regularly scheduled Bird Walk!

Travelling on foot, this bird tour is perfect for the beginning birder. Your guide will go over basic bird identification techniques: visual IDs, habitat and behaviour clues, and birding by ear as a last resort. Experience several of our varied habitats on your walk to see a variety of bird species. This walk is suitable for all lovers of nature, aged 10 years and older.

Bring a water bottle, seasonally appropriate clothing, and binoculars plus the Birds of Ghana field guide if you have them.

No Binocular? No Problem! We have some you may borrow; your guide will review proper binocular use before the walk gets started.

We might also be visiting the Ostrich farm
