About This Event
This is the real Jollof Festival! It's more than just food and drinks, it's your official New Year's Day party!
As experienced in Atlanta, New York, London, Los Angeles, and a host of other cities, the Jollof Festival is a day-long celebration of the many variations of Jollof, along with lots of good music and dance, booze overflowing and just vibrant energy everywhere.
Party starts at 12pm; enjoy great tasting jollof and other African foods, experience the excitement of our signature jollof wars as representatives of selected African countries battle it out to see who makes the best jollof, meet and connect with beautiful people from Ghana and the Diaspora.
We keep turning the heat on as the day goes, by sunset we have switched into 5th gear, it's a total rave through the night till the dawn. DJs on rotation include DJ EarthKwak (Washington DC), MixmasterBerto (Virginia) and ofcourse DJ Loft(Accra)
