Igiehon Mathematics Tournament
About this event
Get ready for the ultimate battle of numbers, logic, and speed. On 21 November 2026, 120–150 schools and 240–300 elite students will gather in Benin City for the Igiehon Mathematics Tournament — a thrilling showdown where Edo State's brightest young minds compete for glory, laptops, and a share of ₦3.20 million in cash prizes.
Only two students per school can represent their institution, and spaces are strictly capped, so every seat at the table is hard-earned. Expect fast-paced problem solving, tense tie-breakers, and an electric atmosphere as students and their teachers chase the championship trophy and medals.
The stakes are high:
- 1st Place: ₦1,000,000 to the students and ₦500,000 to their teacher, plus brand new laptops, trophy and medals
- 2nd Place: ₦750,000 to the students and ₦300,000 to their teacher, plus laptops, trophy and medals
- 3rd Place: ₦500,000 to the students and ₦150,000 to their teachers, plus laptops, trophy and medals
- Consolation: Cash prizes for students and teachers of the top 10 schools, plus school bags and mathematical toolkits for all participants
Is your school ready to claim the crown? Register your champions and be part of Nigeria's most exciting secondary school mathematics championship.
