The story
I thought I knew how venture capital worked and then I started raising and realized that I had almost no idea. Is $2M a good seed valuation or a bad one? Should an early investor get a board seat? What really are the benefits and risks of doing a convertible note instead of a straight equity round? Each investor meeting I took left me with more and more questions. After an MBA and over a year actively raising capital for OZÉ, I don't know it all, but I've learned a lot.
Through this seminar, I hope that Ghanaian entrepreneurs will gain the knowledge and confidence to go out there and pitch their ideas to angels and venture capitalists.
Looking forward to it!
