UCESCO Africa Cultural Charity Gala 2024

Event Overview
The UCESCO Africa Cultural Charity Gala 2024, set for December 20, 2024, at Maasai Beach Resort Hotel in Nyali, Mombasa, is a celebration of diversity, culture, and community engagement. With the theme “Promoting Multiculturalism and Multilingualism for Strengthened Socio-Economic Development,” this event will showcase cultural performances, storytelling, music, team-building activities, and awards—including the crowning of Mr. and Miss UCESCO Africa—in honor of UCESCO’s 10 years of philanthropic impact. Winners will receive a prize of 200,000 KSH.

Event Purpose
The 2024 gala will honor the contributions of UCESCO’s local and international volunteers, with funds raised going towards establishing a vocational school in Mombasa as part of the UCESCO Women Empowerment Program, providing essential skills for youth and women’s economic independence.

Engagement and Accessibility
The event will be available both in-person and we welcome virtual support, with live streaming to engage audiences across Kenya and beyond. Attendees will experience corporate exhibitions, cultural exhibitions, interactive virtual elements, and direct opportunities to connect with UCESCO’s initiatives. We invite corporates and cultural partners to join us and make this event a success.

• All other activities, including team building activities and exhibitions, are free to the public.
