TechGulf is excited to host Digital Forum: Operationalizing Ghana’s Digital Transformation Agenda on Tuesday, April 20th, and Wednesday, April 21st.
The Government of Ghana ("GOG") is embarking on a Ghana Digital Transformation and Infrastructural Development Program, with a focus on national broadband infrastructure, total connectivity, and accessibility for the unserved and underserved. This will include:
- Formation of regional community information centers aimed at bringing government e-services, including postal services, passport services, and birth registration, closer to rural communities;
- Creation of the biometric national identity card system; and
- Creation of paperless port operations, the integrated e-immigration system, e-procurement, e-parliament, e-justice, e-cabinet, and smart workplaces, interoperability platform, and integration of government databases.
The TechGulf Digital Forum will bring together thought leaders, policymakers, and seasoned business executives from Ghana and the U.S. to engage in discussions to share best practices, current trends, and issues related to building business relationships and partnerships. Our goal is to create collaborations and partnerships as well as attract investments that integrate various forms of infrastructure to reap numerous benefits. We aim to have in-depth discussions and engagement with our expert panelists and moderators on four key topics:
- Datacenter Infrastructure
The GOG has a vision of making Ghana a leading digital hub in Africa, placing her among the leading countries in the world with information technology that streamlines government services and provides its citizens service excellence. We look forward to you joining us as we embark on these critical conversations!
