Sublime new South African Author Lize Jacobs. Lost in Chance Book Launch
Starts: Wednesday, 18 November, 2015 04:00pm
Ends: Wednesday, 18 November, 2015 07:00pm
Lize Jacobs a new South African author who has written the perfect read for your Christmas holiday this year (particularly for the Ladies) is launching her book Lost in Chance at Skoobs. Not only is she launching it, but she is also having an art auction of which the proceeds are going to Hanna charity for children/adults in poorer communities as well as for children with dyslexia. Skoobs will be donating books to this charity on this special night to Hanna Charity as well. (Just a small gift from Skoobs to celebrate our 5th birthday) This is Lize's first book and what a delightful romantic comedy it is. From Jacobsville in Bloemfontein (Ja) to Paris (In France, Oui) a witty journey of a young lady in turmoil. Uncertain of her marriage, her best friend suggested she go Paris and throw her wedding ring of the Eiffel Tower. Rallying around, her friends collect money to buy her a ticket to do just that. (After all what are friends for right? BOOM!) The twist in the book is sublime and the characters charming. Chuckles Galore are not amiss!
The evening is going to be filled with music, fun and lots of comedic laughter, with a special guest or two making an appearance to read from this delightful book.
So on behalf of Skoobs you are welcome to come and join this special evening with us and Lize and lets show some support for all the up and coming South African Talent we have in our country.
