Award winning editorial cartoonist John Curtis will be joined by a panel of leading South African cartoonists to present some of their work, as well as that of Zapiro, Yalo, Brandan, Jerm and others, and to discuss the State of their Art - how censorship, technology and other considerations affect their work, and what opportunities and threats await anyone interested in becoming a political cartoonist. The cartoonists will be available for a question and answer session afterwards, and anyone interested in this dynamic field which melds together elements of design, communication and activism is encouraged to attend, and bring a friend.
