Event Details
From the student who has to literally burn the midnight candle to the manufacturer whose products are no longer price competitive because of the cost of power, the socio-economic life of every Nigerian has been adversely affected by the electricity condition in the country. Most Nigerians groan in silence without access to the people who should be addressing these challenges.
This month’s Nextier Power Dialogue is with Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Chairman, Senate Committee on Power. It is an opportunity for electricity consumers to share directly with the Senator their frustrations and their ideas on how to move the sector forward. Industry professionals can share the policies they would like the Senator to advocate. Manufacturers (big and small) can share on the type of support they need to cushion the effect of the power situation. Citizens can share on the changes they want to see in the sector.
We are excited by this opportunity to bring the government closer to the people.
As usual, this Nextier Power Dialogue is an opportunity to network with the creme of Abuja’s professional class while imbued by the beautiful art collection at Thought Pyramid Art Centre.
