Italian flutist Raffaele Trevisani’s virtuosic technique and brilliant musical personality are consistently praised by the public and critics. Based in Milan, Raffaele Trevisani’s career spans 30 years. He has toured extensively and is also an active recording musican. He studied privately with Sir James Galway as a young musician. Sir James praises his “…beautiful singing tone, perfect technique and dedication to the art of music…” Currently he is a flute professor at the Civica Scuola di Musica "Claudio Abbado” of Milan. He plays a 14 carat gold Muramatsu flute that belonged to Sir James Galway and a 14 carat gold Powell flute.
The Milanese pianist, Paola Girardi plays regularly with Raffaele Trevisani, giving concerts in Europe, USA and Japan. She is also his partner for several CDs recorded for Delos International. Ms Girardi studied with Maria Tipo and Konstantin Bogino, and also with Paul Badura-Skoda. She teaches piano at the “International Academy of Music” at the Civic School of Milan.
