Hope Week (charity initiative) is a week dedicated to spreading the message of hope, bringing hope to the less fortunate ones in our society and teaching the essence of giving back to society. It offers an opportunity for Ihope and Ghanaians to reflect on the importance of generous giving, learn about the needs of the community and make consistent effort in bringing hope to the less fortunate ones in our communities especially the deprived.
This year's event would be celebrated with the orphans at Christ Outreach Orphanage at Kai Me Bre in Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana. Activities include general cleaning, painting of orphanage, donation and free health screening. The screening is expected to also cover Hepatitis B, blood grouping, sickle cell, VDRL (to check for syphilis) and others.
Ihope is opened to in-kind and cash donations from individuals, companies and organizations who would like to contribute to making the life of these orphans a better one.
