By Alliance Française du Cap
Wed, Nov 25. 4:00PM - 7:00PM
Alliance Française du Cap, Cape Town

In partnership with ARTE and GREEN NARAE MEDIA. In 2016, the Cité des Civilisation des Vins will be inaugurated in Bordeaux, France. This place will be the perfect place for people to lear everything about wine but also about how wine is linked to the different civilizations of the world that have been using for the past 5500 years. To celebrate this big opening, Grand Angle Production in partnership with Arte, was chosen to produce a special documentary about this important notion of "civilisation des vins" to present the multiple faces of wine in the world and through history. For several weeks now, a team dedicated to this project has been traveling around the world to create an iconic documentary, making stops in Australia, China and Argentina. Éric Michaud, director of this exeptionnal project will be at the Alliance Française du Cap on Wednesday 25 at 6pm to talk about his experience and his work on wine and civilizations. The conference will be followed by a tasting of South Africa wines with Sheila, owner of one of them.
