Event Details

A cursory investigation into Ghanaian political cartoons, at least, from the country’s Independence, reveals how these cartoons vividly capture social, political, religious and economic issues that depart from official versions. What this feature shows is that cartoons provide key alternative, provocative insights into significant issues in Ghana. As well, and equally important, they act as visual intellectual archives of the nation’s history.
