Greetings!

This is a small workshop designed to help people who want to open up their homes as Airbnb hosts, or just improve being hosts. In the relaxed space that is Frankie's in Osu, I will teach everyone about the things you can do to create a great environment for visitors - and to make the most money from your place!

My name is Prof. Damien L. Duchamp and I am a hospitality and tourism professor from New York City. I am also a SuperHost from Airbnb - I rent my apartment in Brooklyn and have traveled all over the world through Airbnbs. I am in Ghana for my fifth time and I am working on building a tourism ecosystem to help boost the economy. This will require a lot of moving parts, but one is certainly additional options for lodging. That's where Airbnb comes in.

What is Airbnb?
This company was created so that people could lease or rent short-term lodging including vacation rentals, apartment rentals, homestays, guest houses, hostel beds and hotel rooms.

I encourage you to take the first step and explore being a host by starting HERE. When you get to Frankie's, look for the colorful laptop and very likely an Airbnb sign.
