Event Details

Social enterprises are businesses that tackle social and environmental challenges, creating jobs, make profits and reinvesting the profit to make social impact rather than sharing it out to shareholders. Just like any business, social enterprises need customers to stay in business. Profitability remains the backbone of every business, likewise customers, who are key to the success and survival of its operations.

The question is- do the number of customers determine how profitable a business becomes?

If the answer is yes to this question, then how can start-ups and businesses with smaller customer bases remain profitable?

This session of mini TEDxTalk seeks to answer this question and help startups to derive profits from their relatively small customer base. Most social enterprises in Ghana are startups and need grooming to keep them in business with their small customer base.
